Description

Groundation Foundation is in the process of producing a fantastic green wall. It will utilize rain water catchment for its' irrigation purposes through the rain water harvesting barrel that they have at American Steel. The green wall will be composed of a numerous amount of succulents. As well as a beautification outlet for West Oakland, the living wall will help decrease air pollution and it will serve as a habitat for insects. Groundation Foundation is involving the community in plant donations as well as educational resources for the public. In fact a group of students will be working on the wall soon.
