Founded by an artist/horticulturalist, West Oakland Woods Farm is home to a beautiful array of native plants, annual and perennial crops and fruit trees. Under the BART tracks at 7th and Peralta Streets, this garden attracts birds, butterflies, bees, and neighbors to soak in the beautiful colors and clean air of the garden. Tucked away in the back is an open area with a table perfect for a garden-side gathering.
